Final Week: Sat Game moved to Thurs

Note: Saturdays game against the Indians is moved to Kent Field in Thursday.

Last Saturday, we lost ugly to the Cardinals 21-0, On Monday we contiuned a rain out game and won in the last inning, 12-11 with Dashiel stealing home for the winning run.

Jun 10: Brewers lose 3 in a row over past week

Sorry I haven't updated the site I was vacation last week. Before I left we lost a close one to the Reds 7-5, then we got beat over the weekend twice by the Yankees. Saturday meeting was 13-1. I'm not sure about the other game.

Next we face the first place Cardinals in back to Back games.

I'll update the standing this week.

Brewers Reds go Stone Cold

As the temp dropped into the 40's so did both teams. Reds took the lead in the top of the 5th and the Brewers had a couple runs in and bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the 5th. This almost 3 hour marathon reverted back to the 4 inning because of darkness. I think the Brewers only had 1 or 2 games so far were the temp was above 60.

Cardinals Hang on a Wire

Brewers lost on exciting game where they came from behind in the bottom of the 6th. They leave the based loaded and a 3-2 pitch was hit to the 2nd baseman to allow the cardinals escape with the win. Brewers lose 12-11.

The boys played a very good game.

May 20th: Mets rides to Victory

The hosting Brewers played solid basball on both sides of the ball for 5 innings and took a 4-3 lead into the the top of the 6th. But the undefeated Mets quickly took the lead and scored 9 runs. Brewers lose 12-4

May 17th: Brewers Update

Sorry about not updating the site, but I had some problems connecting over the weekend.

Brewers won their first game of the season on Friday. 14-1 against the Indians. We scored 9 in the first inning.

On Saturday, we lost to the Mets 11-4 in the first of a Back-to-Back game. Back-to-back games are scheduled so a team does not see the same pitchers for the entire season.

Mets Rain out Part 2

May 15th: Brewers and Mets reached the bottom of the second when the game was called because of rain and field conditions. we will pick up where we left off if we make it up. This was to be a make-up of another rain-out

May 7th: Brewers fall to the Reds during lite rain. Base-running errors stalled any type of rally.

Make-up with the Mets

THe make-up with the Mets is schedule for Weds May 14th.

May 1st:Brewers Rally Falls Short

Brewers were baffled by Indians pitcher DM, who goes 5 innings. A Late rally with the tying run at the plate ends with a center fielder making the catch to end the game. Lose 8-5..Boys are starting to play better.

Next up the undefeated Mets

Cards Walk Home

Brew Crew Plays 5 1/2 inning of good baseball, but could get the final out as the Cardinals walk Home the winning run. Brewers had a 12-5 lead going into the sixth, but fall 13-12.

Brewers hit the ball well and played good defense

Next Up the Indians

Yankees Strike

Yankees pitching stifled the Brewers bats as ZM goes 5-1/3 inning. Brewers Lose 9-3.

Next up the Cardinals @ the Hole on Sunday.

Reminder: Photos (UPDATED),Parade, game

Photos are now Saturday at @10:30 at the Northwest church on Northwest Ave. Please arrive 10:15

Parade is Sunday. Players should be dropped off at Overdale school around 12:15. Parade starts at 1:00. and ends at the Hole.

About an hour after the Parade cerimony, we will be playing our Monday game on Sunday at the Hole.

Apr 22nd: Brewers fall to Reds

Brewers have a rough time against the Reds and fall 12-9, the Reds had several spectacular defensive plays. Brewers gave up 9 in the 3rd. Game was called of darkness and reverted back to the score at end of 4 innings. Next Up the Yankees.

Apr 21: Brewers Opening Day

Brewers will face the Reds tonight @Kent Drive.

Players make sure to bring a water bottle.

April 17th: Scrimmage Thursday vs Reds

Thursady we will Scrimmage the Reds. Wear your Jersey and hats...Bring a water bottle..

March 28th: Parent Meeting/Practice

On March 28th, We will have a parents meeting, have the kids meet each other, and also hold a small practice @ the Tallmadge Rec Center.
